reese shebel (b. 1993) is a south korean painter based in kaua’i. a blend of impulse and trust, her work is an acknowledgment of inner-nature, impermanence, and the process of discovering truth without expectation.

leaning into abstract forms, she experiments with acrylic, gouache, and raw pigment on canvas. each piece reveals a candid visual response to life as a personal memory left to each viewer to co-create and evolve.
